In response to Utusan report that claimed the Penang State Government is going to evict 7,000 people, CM Lim Guan Eng has hit out at Adun for Pulau Betong Muhamad Farid Saad for fanning racial issue.
CM Lim said some of those land belong do not belong to the state government but instead, private landowners. He said the move is by the District Office and not a directive from the State Government. Until today, no one has been affected as it is only in the planning stage to develop an education hub.
